Model LRC Seismic Cable Restraint System, Ceiling Suspended Mounted Seismic

The VMC Group offers UL listed Loos color-coded Seismic Cable Kits for use with SRB, URC, URCR, SB 125 and SB 250 brackets. Each kit comes in cable lengths of 4?, 7?, 10? or 13?. Each kit has two cables with one end factory swaged with a stake-eye, for attachment to the structure and two sleeves for swaging. You can order the LRC 12 – 3/32″ red cable, LRC 18 – 1/8″ white cable or LRC 36 – 3/16″ blue cable.

The Loos seismic cable restraint systems are positioned at a 45° angle from the point of support. The diameter of the cable is based on the weight of the equipment and specified seismic force.

The Loos seismic cable restraints ensure positive attachment to the structure and distribution systems. When installed slightly slack, they do not compromise the vibration isolation by short-circuiting the isolation hanger.
