Isotech introduces its line of "Mini-Linear Actuators." The LE2-X consists of a precision, low friction ball slide assembly attached via a common base to an anti-backlash nut/ leadscrew assembly. A beamed coupling and motor mount complete the assembly and make the actuators motor ready.

The actuator base is only 2.060" X 2.500" and uses an Isotech E-2 AC series ball slide assembly which has .50" of travel, and the an anti-creep retainer system which has been proven to offer increased life in overhanging and vertical load applications. Load capacity is 6 lbs. Total height of the assembly is only 0.785" making this one of the smallest commercially available linear actuator systems available.

Isotech's "Straight Line Design" offers low friction and high accuracy in a compact lightweight package. Standard mounting holes on the slide carriage make it easy to attach the mechanism being moved and the unit's base offers 4 counter bored holes for mounting. The Standard .188" Diameter X .050" lead precision screw drives the slide from the side and is supported by bearings and a housing at one end and a threaded bracket at the other. The anti-backlash lead screw nut is spring-loaded to assure positive movement when changing direction.

The motor mount accepts the MSI 0 Sigma Mini Series motor available through many motion control vendors and distributors. Counters and software are also available through the same sources.

Straight line Accuracy of 0.00057" of travel and 0.0002" repeatability and speeds up to 20 revolutions per second are standard.
