Applications

  • Marks on virtually any surface - glass, ceramic, porcelain, metal, cardboard, paper, and materials
  • Can be installed directly in a production line or used as a stand-alone laser marking system

Laser Marking Features

The legibility of marks made by lasers is achieved through a color contrast between the mark and the base material. This contrast is a function of one of several processes such as annealing, engraving, surface etching, thermo-chemical reaction, and ablation.

Laser marking can produce excellent results with better quality and lower costs than older technologies. Moreover laser marking offers a new dimension in speed, accuracy and repeatability. From bar coding to logos, laser marking offers the best alternative available for part identification. Ink -jet marking, labels, and stencil printing are distant seconds in performance and quality. Laser marking provides a permanent high quality mark without environmental issues associated with inks, chemicals, and other types of marking applications.

Permanent laser marks are made permanent either by engraving or annealing of the base material. The laser marking can only be removed by destroying the surface, e.g. by grinding off.

Fast marking up to 1000 characters per second

Flexible for complex and variable marking patterns are produced in a simple and immediate way. Examples for the high flexibility of the marking contents provides logos, drawings, serial numbers, bar-codes, data matrix, pictures…

Clean, safe and environmentally friendly. No inks, acids or solvents are required.

No tooling to wear. Since laser engraving is a non-contact process, it can be used to mark parts that would normally be damaged by impact and/or vibratory marking methods. Marking and engraving can be performed on both flat and curved surfaces, as well as a variety of unusually shaped objects.

User-friendly and low costs of preparation masks, stamps, or plates as base of conventional marking processes are not needed. Differing from these processes the marking contents can be easily generated with minimal programming using FlyCad, a simple and powerful software specially designed to provide all customer's needs.

Wide range of materials, quality, precisions and reliability in all applications on a wide range of materials, such as metals, plastics, rubber, leather, paper, glass, marble, ceramic, chrome, multi-coated materials, etc.
